Immunisation Foundation of Australia

about immunisation foundation of australia

The initial founders of the Immunisation Foundation of Australia are firm believers that no child in a country as lucky as Australia should die from any vaccine preventable disease. These impassioned vaccination advocates were determined to see an end to pain and suffering from vaccine preventable diseases in Australia, and indeed the world.

A clear need for accessible information regarding vaccine preventable diseases for both the community and medical professionals was identified. In response, the Foundation aims to provide information regarding vaccine preventable diseases, the facts around immunisation, and helping to inform policy. In addition, it aims to raise funds for education campaigns, vaccinations in communities of need, and research projects.

Through consultation with medical professionals, we are now proud to introduce the Immunisation Foundation of Australia as a way to inform, educate and support families making decisions about immunisation.
